American Idol

So... The wait is finally going to end. who's gonna be this season's idol ? Adam or Kris?

I dono, i don really care.....

This season's one is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo overhyped right from the beginning, that it actually turned me off from watching it now.... Even b4 the auditions were shown, the media was screaming that this year's is sooo good, that there had to be 36 semifinalist (GASP!) instead of normal 24. IT's soo good that there's 13 finalist instead of usual 12 (GASP!!)... There's even a time where the judges will try and save an idolist from terminated! (GASP!!!)

Then it came. Auditions were...enjoyable... The hollywood were... annoying especially fot the so called Norman Gentle, the gay boy and that self absorbed Tatiana....And they could choose specifically... people who forget lyrics but still go in... while others can't.... Talk about biasedness there...

Of course, through the voting for finalist, u have token contestants of different ethnic groups and backgrounds....
You have the slumdog, the redneck, the tatooed lady, and the gay/gay looking singer...

What bites in this season is that the finalist do not have good voice at all... those that the judges rave are actually quite bad, barring a few. Otherwise, they sing off key, or scream instead of singing. take that Lil Rounds for example. She can not sing... Whatever song she holds, she yells loud so that the judges applaud her MIGHTY VOICE.... Yet she is defensive to being annoying...

Slumdog? Let's just not talk about him... It's the slumdog season...Nuff said.
redneck? Dissapointing.
Tatooed gal? More disappointing... How can she sing so good at the beginning and ended so bad? Not to mention her attitude for the contest suddenly?She does remind me of Reese Witherspoon though :p

the rest are mediocre that I'm seriously surprised that the judges are applauding them every single week... Rock chick? Self absorbed.... Jazzy Matt? Fashion only.... Blind Scott? No comment for the disabled one....

Even now as I'm "speaking" here, the finals were between 2 so massively different contestants... the MIGHTY HAPPY Adam Lambert from bradway against the kriss allen... Who? reminds me of the fight in season 6 - Jordin Sparks vs beatbox boy....

Of course, one cannot finish up this roll call without mentioning the sad Danny Gokey... Who entered to tell us his sobbing sad story... His wife passed away from a heart condition a month before the auditions... GOD REST HER SOUL.
Yes...sad, I'm sorry to hear that...But enough already after that audition... Hollywood, he talks about it....Semifinals he does the same... First 2 weeks of finals... songs sweetly about LIFE.... Then tragedy struck. His grandfather passwed away too.. My sincere condolences to you, Gokey...
And it was good (ploy?) he didn't mention it then...

After that, I realized that he's actually riding on that story itself!!! Why? Cos his songs weren't good then... He screamed through a ballad... tried a rock song with very very INTERESTING results and went mediocre... People may say I'm dead biased for saying that cos he has a good voice... Of course he has a good voice. He has a loud Screaming voice too, that he uses nearly every single week!!!

So.. with this, I end me short comments on this season's idol.. I know it'll bound to hit the roof with many &!*t as how I say about them, but hey... It's a free Blogging world right? You have the right to say what's on your #&%*(#^ mind about anything isn't it?
